Cash Allowance for Teachers…


One of the demands raised by ACT was an increase in the amount of chalk allowance for teachers.

We are pleased to inform you that we haVE accomodated ACT’s demand. In fact, under the proposed General Appropriations Act for 2012
(House Bill No. 5023), cash allowance for teachers for the purchase of chalks, erasers, forms and other classrom supplies and materials shall be paid only to classroom teachers at One Thousand Pesos (Php 1,000.00) per teachers per school year.-BR. ARMIN A. LUISTRO FSC,DepEd Secretary

(ACT) during their public assembly on October 5,2011 at the Mendiola Bridge in Manila.

    our div office demanded all teachers to present first receipt before claiming chalk allowance , How could it be we is it obligatory for us to comply the demand with out giving cash first.then by chalk and other classroom needs?

    Gagawan lng po ng payroll yan at attachment pero not a chalk receipt
