Good but non-teaching positions are not given attention or upgraded.

wow! A schools division superintendent will be paid that high? I will be working hard to hit that goal! Help me God.

This just widens the (salary) gap. Poor DepED CPA/accountants! Yu are not part of those that were benefitted in this increase. Your pay is a mere crumbs on what they (teaching personnel) will be receiving. They are just multiplying your workloads and not your pay grade. You are now DepEds mrtyrs, no longer the teachers.

level up your increase we too wants to eat big fish

The teachers should be the first class workers at DEPED and so they are the ones to enjoy high increases in salary

Is it true that teacher I gets the same salary as janitor in DOLE and security guard in GSIS?
March 23, 2013 at 7:04 am |
this is good but the difference between TIII and Mt1 is so great where in fact they have the same nature of works.
April 7, 2013 at 6:09 pm |
yes that’s right!!! some teachers rather choose janitorial work instead of teaching as a profession. teaching here in the Philippines is miserable. 😦 But still, teachers are hoping for the best.

It’s true that the GSIS/SSS security guards get higher salary than a Teacher I or and Instructor 1. Where is the fairness in that?

at least this time, people will not underestimate the teachers. kasi before they ahhh teacher lang yan. This, a teacher has very dignity. Thanks to the President for approving to augment the salary of teachers.

Teachers should be given high regards especially in terms of salary because without them we cannot produce professional doctors, nurses, engineers, accountants, and different professionals. Teachers aim high also.

Its not good to hear that T1 is only the same salary with the security guard, I hope pnoy will increase the salary of the teachers especially those teachers who are really teaching in the classroom!

Nurse II na po ang Deped Nurses, or Salary Grade 15 which is equivalent to 24,887 plus Pera+ACA making it 26,887
yan po yung Gross, never mind po yung Net pay or take home pay kasi ang laki ng mga mandatory deductions specially pag single ka… hahaha

dapat salary grade ang itaas para sa teachers, let’s say for T1 – SG15, kc ang mga teacher, wala overtime pay, unlike other govt employee, ex. ang T1 ngaun e SG-11, compare sa govt employee who works in the office for ex. w/ a position like Admin Asst VI w/c SG-12, plus may overtime pay pa, see the difference? Qualification ng T1 pasado sa board exam, Admin Asst VI – CSC Subprofessional, see the difference? Sa trabaho, maghapon turo si T1 sa school, tapos gawa lesson plan sa bahay, wala overtime pay, si admin asst VI, pag lagpas ng 5pm nasa office pa, kahit wala gaano ginagawa may overtime pa, uwi sa bahay pahinga na, DEPED, DO YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE?
